On these pages we invite you to share your birth experiences, both the highs and the lows, so that prospective parents can get an inkling of the whole process. This can be very helpful for people who are considering their options for care or who are trying to get a picture of what birthgiving is actually like.

It is also an opportunity to share the joys and wonder of pregnancy and birth and to celebrate the enormous strength of women. We would love to hear from partners too and are sure that other partners-to-be would welcome this input too.

We have found that partners have often felt marginalised within the confines of traditional care and we would like to encourage more dialogue and sharing of experiences.
