It wasnt easy because we were the first year of the current Direct Entry students, back in 1989 we were the 'guinea pigs' in Bournemouth & Poole - the following year the course went out to the UK. There was never any doubting her commitment and having met up with so many Midwives since who she has supported, encouraged or inspired - I am very grateful to have known her. I was aware of her illness but still deeply saddened by her loss - there are not many genuinely beautiful souls in the World but she was one. Sally I was very fortunate to do my training with Tricia.
